This tool was designed with the automotive fabricator in mind. Mostly for fabricating tubing merges in exhausts, Intercooler piping, dump tubes, etc. This will mark EXACTLY where you need to cut on the saw to get a true "Half tube". The angle finder comes in to play when pipe needs to merge at a desired angle. Without this tool, It is difficult to accurately and efficiently layout these merges.
